About Us

The beginnings of our company Coloured Square Ltd go back to 1998 when Mark Dando was a client of Doug Richardson.

We’re really quite different as people, and we didn’t hit it off immediately. It took about 6 months before we began to understand the motivations and drives we each had for training and development. But once we got there, we began designing and delivering new materials and approaches that neither of us had seen or experienced anywhere else. Almost immediately we had delegates telling us to set up in business – delegates offering to invest in our approach. And so it all started under the name Dando-Richardson.

From the start, the lasting changes our clients have succeeded in making with our help have led to steadily increasing demand for our style of training and coaching. Equally importantly, we have been fortunate enough to meet other trainers and coaches along the way who are also attracted to our way of doing things. We value the difference they bring as people to our training and coaching systems and we are justifiably proud of them. So we’ve built and will continue to build a wider team.

We value the strength of this team so much that we believe – as do our clients – that the enormous contribution they make could be better reflected in our branding to everyone’s benefit.

For these reasons, we have changed our name to Coloured Square Ltd.
